Mysore Palace - The Mysore Palace is one of the must sees of Mysore. The palace exhibits the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture. On every Dasera festival the magnificent jewel studded golden throne is put on display. In a nutshell the Palace is a true symbol of breathtaking beauty.
Chamundeswari Temple – On the eastern edge of Mysore lies the Chamundi hills and on it, is built the famous 11th century Chamundeshwari Temple. The temple is at a height of 1,000ft. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. One can either climb the 1,00 steps to the temple or drive up the winding ghat roads. One can also come across the towering statue of the demon Mahishasura.

Mysore Zoo - The Mysore Zoo was established in 1892. The zoo houses a collection of animals, including exotic species and is famous for breeding some of the very rare animals in captivity.

The Jaganmohan Palace – It is a beautiful building in Mysore that has been converted in to an art gallery. This art gallery contains paintings of Raja Ravi Verma of Travancore and the Russian Painter Svetoslav Roerich. Paintings in the traditional Mysore Golden leaf style can also been seen here.

St. Philomena's Church – This church was made in 1956 and is said to be one of the largest churches in the country. The church follows the Gothic style of architecture. The church grants a wonderful and refreshing treat to the eyes at night when illuminated.

Brindavan Gardens – The Brinadavan Gardens are a major attraction in Mysore. The gardens are adorned with lighting and musical fountains.
