Saat Tal

Saat Tal is a conglomeration of seven lakes, the most picturesque lake resorts in Kumaon. It is located at a distance of 22kms from Nainital and 75 kms from Uttarkashi, on the way to Gangotri. Saat-tal is situated at a moderate height of 1350 mts (4,300 ft.) which makes it a perfect camp suitable in all seasons. Of the seven lakes, Ram Tal, Sita Tal, Lakshman Tal, Hanuman Tal and Garud Tal are perennial and Sookha Tal and Biyun Tal are seasonal. The area has rich reserve forests with dense jungles near these natural waters that add toi the enriching beauty.

While in the camp, one can indulge in a lot of sporting and adventure activities, apart from praising the natural beauty. These include: kayaking, fishing and swimming and rock-climbing & treks through the dense jungles past hidden villages and waterfalls. camp-fires, games and barbecues perfectly complement to the enjoybale and fun-packed stay at the camp.

How to reach
The beautiful Saat tal is a 7-hour drive from Delhi, via Moradabad, Rampur and Haldwani.

The closest railhead is at Kathgodam.
