Day 1 Arrive Delhi
Traditional welcome on arrival. Transfer to your Hotel, afternoon &
evening in New Delhi.
Day
2 Delhi/Agra
Leave for Agra by surface. Half day city tour including a visit to Taj
Mahal. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 Agra/Delhi
Morning transfer to airport to board a flight for Varanasi. Evening
excursion to Sarnath, where the Buddha preached his first sermon. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 4 Varanasi/Bodhgaya
Early morning boat ride on holy river Ganges. Later leave for Bodhgaya by
surface. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 Bodhgaya
Visit the Mahabodhi temple where the Buddha attained enlightenment.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 Bodhgaya/Rajnagar/Nalanda/Patna
Leave for Patna enroute visiting Rajgir,the first Buddhist council and
Nalanda, the great Buddhist university. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 Patna/Vaishali/Kushinagar
Leave for Kushinagar by coach enroute visiting Vaishali.Afternoon visit the
site of Lord Buddha's cremation and visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple.
Day
8 Kushinagar/Lumbini
Morning leave for Lumbini by surface.Evening visit the birthplace of Lord
Buddha. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9 Lumbini/Balrampur
Leave for Balrampur by surface. Evening visit Sharavasti where the Buddha
spent 24 rainy seasons preaching. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 Balrampur/Lucknow
Morning leave for Lucknow by road. Evening half day city tour.Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 11 Lucknow/Delhi
Transfer to railway station to board the Shatabdi Express. Transfer to
Airport in time to connect your flight for onward destination.
