Agra is the one of the most popular destinations of the foreign travelers due to its possession of three extremely beautiful heritage monuments-The Taj Mahal, Red Fort & Fatehpur Sikri. Apart from being the land of Taj, Agra is a major center of handicrafts and mercantile activity. It is famous for handicrafts products such as inlay work on marvel, leather work, footwear, brassware, carpets, jewelry, zari and embroidery work. It is also well known for its food products such as 'petha', 'dalmoth' and 'gajak'.

Situated in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India, Agra depicts the vibrant culture, art and religious philosophies that have enriched the mankind for centuries. In the 16th and 17th centuries, Agra was the capital of India and it has many monuments that epitomize the high point of Mughal architecture. Sikandra, four kilometer from Agra is the mausoleum of Akbar. This structure has a perfect blending of Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist, Jain motifs. Another visiting destination is Fatehpur Sikri, situated around 40 km from Agra.

But the main attraction is obviously Taj Mahal, a monument dedicated to true love. Raised on white marble, Taj Mahal imparts a sense of serenity, testifying to the timelessness of art and love. The Agra Fort, made of high red sandstone stretch for almost 2.5 km, dominating a bend in the river Yamuna, northwest of the Taj Mahal.
