various other private players into the development and progress of the
water-sport scenario, Goa is one of the best water sport playgrounds in
India.
Surfing :
Just from the name of the competitions, the annual Windsurfing regatta and
the open board sailing competition, it would be clearly understood that the
surfing scenario in Goa is exciting. However, it is not stagnant in just
that, and is continuously progressing to the stage exhilarating. Dona Paula,
in the morning hours, offers a good starters option, while in the evening
it's a good place for the experienced. Other places where surfing is taken
up include Calangute, Colva, Pololem, Vagator, Baga, Miramar and Bogmolo.
Scuba Diving :
Suzy's Wreck, Davy Jones Locker, Turbo Tunnel, Surge City, Uma Guma Reef
and Bounty Bay etc are among the popular destinations for the divers. The
Grand island is the hub around which most of the diving activities take
place. Goa offers a vivid and exciting underwater world for the scuba
divers.
Dinghie sailing :

and the Coastal areas could be your preferred address. The Dinghies can well
accommodate six people and the joy of being together with friends on the
waves is irresistible.
Parasailing :
Parasailing, again, is one of the most favoured sports in Goa taken up as
an amusement activity rather than an adventure. There are many organizations
both government and non government who take up this as a professional way in
Goa and that creates lots of difference in the way it is conducted. The best
places to look for parasailing includes Bogamalo, Dona Paula, Baga and the
Candolim beach.
Boating :
Motor boats are available for the speed enthusiasts, and that too, in many
varieties. Some of the boats reach 40 miles per hour, and you would feel
like in escape velocity. But if you miss the track there are the guides
who'll help you land still in Goa. Dona Paula, Candolim, Colva and Majorda
are best places to acquire a boat and test your limits.
